Bolognese with minced vegetables - Recipe

Bolognese with minced vegetables


  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 red pepper
  • 400g minced meat
  • 1 can of peeled tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato puree
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • Olive oil
  • Salt pepper


  1. Finely chop the onion and garlic with a chopper.
  2. Peel and finely chop the carrot with a chopper.
  3. Cut the zucchini and red pepper into small dice using a food processor .
  4. In a hot skillet, heat some olive oil and brown the minced meat in it until cooked through.
  5. Add the chopped onion, garlic, carrot, zucchini and red pepper to the pan and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the peeled tomatoes and tomato puree to the pan and mix well.
  7. Let the sauce simmer for 20 minutes over medium heat, stirring regularly.
  8. Add the chopped basil and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Serve the bolognese hot, accompanied by pasta or rice.
